Explore McKell Wascana Conservation Park, Regina, SK
McKell Wascana Conservation Park located in Wascana Park in Regina, Saskatchewan is a gem to observe nature right within the city limits. We spent the morning on the McHattie Boardwalk and Dock pond dipping, water sampling, and having a picnic. Wascana Creek runs through this park and it's a lush wetland with lots of wildlife. After our picnic we biked the various trails throughout the park before heading to our next destination - the Habitat Conservation Area in the heart of Wascana Park along Wascana Lake.
We enjoy water testing with Water Rangers and Regina based WUQWATR. We thought this conservation area would be a perfect location for water testing. To view our water testing results, visit: https://app.waterrangers.ca/locations/4058.
