Winter Books

With the sun’s rays growing stronger as spring slowly approaches, I thought I’d share some of our favourite winter books. “Sleep Tight Farm” gives you the cozy feeling of farm life. “A Farmer Boy Birthday” and “Sugar Snow” take you back to simpler times of family togetherness and communal work. “Over and Under the Snow”, “Winter Walk”, “In the Snow”, and “Big Tracks, Little Tracks” remind you to look around outdoors and even in winter’s cold and snow there are many animals active and many asleep beneath our feet. And, of course, it’s such fun singing “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” together at night as we’re cozied up reading bedtime stories! Books are one of the simplest shared joys in our family and we’re thankful for our public libraries that ensure we never run out of new books to explore!
